1) If the honour tiles are NOT already mostly out near the end of the game, it could mean someone is waiting for a big winning combo.
2) Pong takes priority over chi.
3) If you pong someone's tile, you take the tile to form the set and discard one from your hand. At any point in time, your total tiles should be 13 only. Waiting for the 14th to win.
-> And if you gang, then you have to draw a replacement tile before discarding a tile from your hand cos gang is like an extra bonus. You get money straight away.
4) You can get money from 花上 when you have 2 flower tiles corresponding to your seat number.
5) You get money for the 咬 animal sets eg. chicken+centipede/ cat+rat
6) Pong dragon tiles will earn you a tai each.
7) You need at least 1 tai to call for a win. It can be from the animals or your combo.
8) Be careful when discarding the last tile before the drawer wall, it must be a tile that has been discarded before, otherwise you have to pay penalty.
